Only CapPlan Water provides a singular tool to aggregate information from GIS, asset management systems, and hydraulic modeling to build a system rehabilitation plan prioritized by system risk.
Many existing water systems are under considerable stress, either because of rapid growth or deterioration of an aging infrastructure, with some systems dating back more than 100 years. Growing communities and gradual land use changes have resulted in a drastic increase in system demands on an older infrastructure that was not designed to sustain these additional flows. Traditional “find and fix as you go” approach may not be cost-effective or reliable, and in fact, may not even improve overall system performance.
CapPlan Water was specifically designed to help water utilities quickly and accurately identify areas in their system at greatest risk and with the least amount of system improvement and rehabilitation effort, improve system performance and longevity.

Risk of Failure
| |
Standard linear normalization – multiply the likelihood and consequence values |
| |
Bi-directional distribution – build a qualitative matrix based on likelihood and consequence thresholds |
| |
Multi-criterion classification – build normalized risk values for each consequence criteria |
